About the course

and Requirements

The Dance Summer School in Ireland is designed for dancers who are already attending Classical Ballet classes in any technique—Russian, Cuban, French, Italian, English, etc. The minimum age required to attend is 13 and a minimum standard (with exam achieved) of grade 3 in classical ballet is needed.

The course is also suitable for intermediate, advanced, and vocational students, and it is not intended for beginners.

The Dance Summer School in Ireland offers a comprehensive curriculum that allows students to explore different genres and styles of dance and our goal is not to prepare a performance at the end of the course; instead, we focus on providing a valuable learning experience throughout the training process.

Our mission is to foster a positive environment and support dancers eager to enhance their skills while immersing themselves in creativity and growth.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of dance classes, including Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Body Conditioning, Body Awareness, Latin Rhythms, and more. Our experienced teachers are dedicated to helping you improve your technical proficiency, artistic skills, and overall understanding of your body's capabilities.

Dance students with intermediate/advanced profiles and those with vocational aspirations will receive advice from our faculty about applying for dance colleges in the United Kingdom and attend mock audition sessions.

Whether you dream of becoming a professional dancer or teacher, our programme is tailored to provide you with the insights and tools needed to continue your pathway to succees in the competitive dance industry. This growth will be supported by dancing with and observing peers from around the world.

Finally, in addition to its exceptional dance training, the course is also committed to providing an amazing entertainment programme and other performing arts related activities.
